Accomodations

For the Most part accommodations at Stockton Lake are somewhat primitive. There are many campsites that are maintained by the Army Corps of engineers as well as private campsites. In addition to camping there are also several resorts on Stockton Lake that are very nice, probably the most notable of these resorts is “The Cabins at Stockton Lake” which are truly luxurious cabins situation about 5 minutes from downtown Stockton, and right on Stockton Golf Course.

Stockton has some of the clearest water in the state, making it great for diving and swimming, as well as fishing. The wide expanse of water in the lower part of the lake attracts many sail boaters. The same wind-swept area can sometimes be hazardous for travel in small boats.
